This is a fantastic level two entry, the heavy use of texture really works here. I wish you all the best in the challenge :iconflowersplz:

Thank you! I am pretty happy with how this one turned out, it sorta surprised me really :boogie:

Thats what I am loving about these competitions, with certain criteria to meet the end results are proving to be inspired and not what I would think to do normally :D

Oh most definately, I learn so much here and nothing EVER turns out the way I had envisaged. I do things that I would not normally do either....just for that challenge :)

I love the "old letter" look. The tower is very cool. I like the hue, the overall card and the use of the textures. Very nicely done, especially for level 2!

I like this idea, but the image is a little overall "dull" and it's hard to see the tower. If you agree, why not try bringing up the saturation on the building and the man, since they are the most important, to pull them more forward from the background and the words.

I do to a certain degree like the dull, faded impression, the tired emotion of it appealed to me :D

That said, I can (and will swap for this one to see how it goes) upload a version from before I faded it. Unfortunately I cannot go all that far back in it's history as my computer is running alarmingly low on memory :omfg: (this includes how many undo levels my PS has in memory).

Well I might not get to check before the morning my time but let me know what you think about the more vivid, less faded version

.....and at first I couldn't think of anything to do with a cards theme! (then I remembered there are a LOT of cool tarot cards like the tower to draw my inspiration from LOL). There is definitely something about this one I like :)
